About Bamboo Shack

Since opening a small shack on Nassau Street in 1990, Bamboo Shack remains committed to community and being deliciously Bahamian; over the years, the brand has become synonymous with Bahamian culture.

It all began with the dream of a young girl who came from humble beginnings who wanted to make the best tasting chicken in the world. It began with 1 location, 2 employees and a strong commitment to excellence; since then, Elaine Pinder’s dreams are coming to fruition with with 7 locations including one in South Florida.
